Our Mission
Proudly serving the Baton Rouge community since 1986, Kids Count is truly a total childcare and development center. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality care for the whole child. We offer a warm, nurturing environment where children feel secure and leap into each day, excited to learn and play. We tailor activities and lesson plans to maximize the social and academic development of our children. We keep class sizes small to make sure that each child receives individualized attention and activities tailored to each stage of development. Through cooperative play and creative enrichments, Kids Count helps children to reach milestones with ease and prepares them for success in kindergarten and beyond.

OUR Story
As working parents of young children, we found ourselves searching for high quality childcare that would provide a warm, nurturing environment where our kids would have the foundation to reach their social, emotional and physical milestones naturally and with ease, preparing them to succeed and lead in kindergarten and beyond. Fate presented us with the opportunity to acquire an existing center from its founder who was ready to begin the next phase of her life. We made it our mission to build upon and grow the center’s legacy not only for our own children, but for the other families served as well. From this, our passion for childcare blossomed and has propelled us forward as we seek to provide the type of care that we demand for our own children to as many families and communities as we can.
